What are you opinions on this baby naming idea?
An "audio" CD containing thousands of baby names spoken out loud one after another.
ie. as an alternative to reading baby names in a book or on a website. So you can simply listen to them anywhere on your iPod or CD player.
I’d like to hear all opinions be they positive or negative.
And additionally, if you were interested..
1) Would you prefer;
A) Just an MP3 download and save on postage costs.
B) a physical CD shipped to you, but also including free immediate download if you wish to.
2) Do you think it would be best to listen to;
C) Before using traditional methods, ie. make a quick shortlist.
D) After using other methods and as a final ‘just in case I missed one’ type of check.

I like it. A lot of people question pronunciation and I think it would REALLY help with that. Good luck with it! I’d definitely be interested. What about a website with the audio as well?
that sounds interesting actually. i think i would only use an MP3 download.
i woud probably use it as well as a book
It is a cool idea but the only thing is that the voice saying the child’s name is not your own and it makes a difference hearing the name when you or a familiar voice says it.

I think that’s a really great idea. Then you can hear how some names are pronounced, and make up your own spelling to keep it unique. Probably be more convenient as MP3 download, but either way sounds good. And I think its best to listen before trying other methods.
